An intimate 2 day experience with Shonel Bryant of Nomad Styling
Cultivate is a two day workshop led and designed by me (Shonel) to enhance your skills through experiencing and building meaningful connections. Held in the spectacular Daylesford region, we will spend the weekend in a beautiful space that I have the pleasure of creating with help from floral magician, Katie Marx.
We will take a deep dive into what it takes to build a strong brand including building a portfolio, meeting budgets and attracting the right clients. I’ll share my experience of starting Nomad Styling and how the business has evolved to be where it is today. There will be open discussions throughout the weekend where you will be encouraged to ask any questions you may have as we talk through the intricacies of the industry.
We will cover my design process from beginning to end explaining how I get to know my clients and where I source that initial spark of inspiration. How I create a memorable experience through carefully selected pieces. How to use texture, colour and tactile elements to elevate your work. I will demonstrate how to manipulate and drape fabrics to create interest in a space. We will also cover how to allocate the budget specific to each event. The process of creating a feature piece within budget constraints. How to identify the right vendors to use for each event and following your intuition. We will discuss how to articulate your vision with clarity whilst also being flexible to the many variables involved in an event. All of this and so much more will be extensively discussed as we get to know each other and share our ideas, questions and experiences.
You will have the opportunity to be hands on as we build a beautifully considered table scape that we will all experience when we sit down for a nourishing dinner and well earned wine.
You will take home a carefully curated package and printed notes of the topics that we cover, as well as an abundance of inspiration and lasting connections with like minded creatives including myself.
I hope you can join me for these two beautiful days.
